Each year, $2.5 million in scholarships and bursaries are awarded to Cape Breton University students thanks to the generosity of benefactors. Students who join directly from high school or through articulation agreements are eligible for entry awards based on their academic performance.

Eligibility For Cape Breton University Entrance Scholarship
Applicants for any of the Cape Breton University Entrance Scholarships must meet the following requirements.
To be eligible, you must have a minimum 80 percent average as established by Cape Breton University, with no failures.
Cape Breton University will decide the average for international students entering directly from high school.
To be eligible for an ESL conditional offer, students must attend a Cape Breton University English language partner school.
Students must be classified as either domestic or international students when applying.
If you’re a student with an articulation agreement, you must be enrolled in your transfer program right now.
Must have a strong academic record and a track record of success at a previous level of study (s).
