The Staff Personal Development Plan
To help you think through your career goals, strategies and personal development in a structured way, you’ll be required to complete the Staff Personal Development plan together with your Supervisor when you join and at the beginning of each year. The plan details your career objectives for the next five years, your key areas of learning and development, and how these needs will be supported. The plan is reviewed regularly with your supervisor to ensure you are on track with your objectives and to make amendments when necessary.
Staff Personal Development Assistance (SPDA)
This is an initiative provided by the Bank allowing you time off work, in some cases paid, to pursue a course of study outside of the Bank’s curriculum. We’ll also reimburse you for select professional qualifications that help you with what you do. At Access Bank, we never stop learning!
Access Bank Entry Level Training Programme
After you’ve sent in your application online, Access Bank recruitment process entails the following steps:
- Step 1: Candidates that meet the Bank’s requirements are invited for a written test.
- Step 2: An open day at Access Bank head office for all successful candidates. This is an event of interactive activities where you’ll be given further insight into what we do at Access Bank.
- Step 3: A psychometric test, essay writing exercise, and panel interview.
- Step 4: Final interview with the Head of Human resources.
- Step 5: Training school offer letters sent to successful candidates
Job/Application Requirements:
The recruitment process is location specific so carefully choose your most preferred location. You are also to select ONE from the following programs and apply. Note that you are apply to a program that you are eligible for.
ELTP GRADUATE
- Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university with a minimum of Second-Class Upper Division (2:1).
Divisions: ERG (Enterprise Resource Group), CIBD (Corporate and Investment Banking Division) and CBD (Commercial Banking Division)
ELTP RETAIL
- Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university with a minimum of Second-Class Lower Division (2:2).
Divisions: Retail sales, Products and Retail Operations
ELTP TECH
- Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university with a minimum of Second-Class Lower Division (2:2).
- Must be a graduate of any STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) discipline and Economics.
Division: Technology
Internship
- Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university with a minimum of Second-Class Lower Division (2:2).
