Eligibility Criteria For American University Merit Scholarship
Merit awards at American universities are only given out at the time of admission. Once you’ve started your studies at an American university, there are no further prospects for partial scholarships from the Office of Admissions.
Applicants must be willing to study and make good grades in the American university
Because the American institution is committed to good civic and social change, applicants must be willing to return home and help underprivileged communities in their own nation.
Citizens of the United States, permanent residents of the United States, and dual citizens of the United States and another nation are not eligible to apply.

All students are evaluated based on their admissions application; only the FDDS and United Methodist scholarships require a separate application.
